In these extraordinary times we are in need of extraordinary people. Shout out to my man Matthew Abaya for inspiring me this past month on the creative tip. And to the youth I've encountered recently, stay up and keep doing the right things. And to all people sharing themselves to the world with positive hearts- Love is Light. Be a becon.

Radiohead....Greatness

Here we see Radiohead perform All I Need live in the basement.

Radiohead is one of my sources for creative inspiration. Adept musicians that are often cerebral but at the same time have an emotionally driven sound. This is a performance from their basement series where they play live for us fans and syndicate it for free. Genius idea and great to see them in a slightly unpolished and raw element performing their work. Lovely.
One- Rah-B

Tranzlator Crew

Who got the Vocab?

Freshness. Yo the Fugees will forever go down in music history as one of the hottest groups ever. Short lived. But classic indeed. Lauren is one of the dopest Emcees of all time. Period. Notice I didn't say female emcees. Much love & Respect to nineties hip hop.

"I Believe"

Q-Tip is one of the few artists of our (hip hop) generation to exhibit and posses longevity in the music game. Already a legend from the group A Tribe Called Quest, he continues to make good music and touch listeners across the globe. Please check out his latest album "The Renaissance". One. -The Rah

History

In a generation where we have witnessed the foundation laid out from our civil rights elders, of the past fourty decades we are now witnessing our youth, the next generation, experience the evidence of a manifestation of a vision those whom have come before us shared. A great thing indeed. We are all born free.

Mos Definitely... LOL

Yo I just couldn't resist. Brotha Mos is funny on this one.

Posted on youtube by Good Magazine a few months ago...
"GOOD - The magazine for people who want to do well by doing good. We engage and challenge the people, ideas and institutions driving change in the world."

Check them out at: www.good.is They're pretty insightful on a bunch of different issues and interests. You can be a contributor to the site content as well... Hmmm I see a trend here (thanks Current.com for making it so popular..well kind of)

But the Original Source for this video is 247townhall.org. I'm really feeling them. Though to me, the site isn't that visually exciting (i blame the slanted grayish font at the top) the content is really good thus far. Others they've interviewed are Danny Glover and Wyclef to name a few. It seems to me like it's new and still building. Also here you can be a contributor as well. Please Check them out at www.247townhall.org and show some love. Props to Mohammed Bilal, Sam Miller and Jessica Corbin for creating this. Peace - The Rah

Yes we did. Today we have our 44th president, Barack Obama sworn in to lead the country and the world. Much love to the Obama campaign, all those grassroots regular folk, our friends, and ourselves campaigning for change making this moment possible. Peace.
